🖼️ Medieval 2 Total War Best Units
Byzantine Empire: Faction Overview. Byzantium is essentially the Greek speaking remnants of the Eastern Roman Empire and the centre of Orthodox Christianity. The Byzantines themselves merely see their Empire as an unbroken continuance of the Roman Empire and its Emperors. The Empire is currently a shadow of its former self, having lost a great
included with Medieval 2: Total War, but my guide looks better, and hopefully explained a little. :P As follows I break the listing by Guild then effects, then by triggers. Gains followed by losses. Notice: This is my work, developed from pouring over the game files, and input from various gamefaqs users as well as BlueYoshi579's guild section.
The Byzantine Empire. The Byzantine Empire has one of the strongest rosters in the early campaign, with excellent heavy infantry, good archers, and strong options in both heavy and skirmish cavalry. Be warned; while the Empire has strong units in many areas, quite a few options require high-level buildings or have very high upkeep costs.
MEDIEVAL II- TOTAL WAR GUIDE (RUSSIA) This guide I have made because of two reasons:-. 1. It is easily one of my most favorite factions in Medieval II Total War. AND. 2. I cannot find any comprehensive guide for the Russians here in the TWC website or in the strategy pages. STATISTICS: Name: Russia.
Infantry, Spearmen: Swiss Pikemen or Landsknecht Pikemen. Ranged, Gunpowder: Musketeers. Ranged, Pre-gunpowder: Retinue Longbowman or Aventeriers. (Aventeriers do more damage and are better armored
Mid Tier. Ironically the exact opposite problem of Scotland. Egypt: Similar to the Turks, only 2 options named (Royal) Mamluks. Thankfully they both have AP so that gives them a slight edge there. They also have light cavalry in the form of Arab Cavalry and 2 sorts of ranged cav. So you can field decent cav early on.
In other words, 2 settlements able to support 8 units will have less upkeep than 1 city with 4 slots. Oh one last note i have to make. I would recommend you fully stacked your capital regardless of distance from border because of the fact that inevitably, your capital will be the first target of a crusade/jihad.
Benefiting from improvements in arms and armour these elite warriors are still formidable, even when they choose to fight on foot. 33. 48. Dismounted Polish Knights. heavy infantry. Well trained, elite troops, and well equipped with plate armour and sword. Fighting on foot, these knights make capable heavy infantry.
thebigbenman 12 years ago #4. there's no battle being fought in auto resolve. the computer will take your stack and the enemy's stack and fight them unit-by-unit, in order from left to right, winner moves on to fight the next unit, etc. it seems to pretend it's all close range melee and rely on those stats, so heavy armored infantry do great
1. Stainless Steel. Check Out This Mod. Easily the most popular mod for M2TW, Stainless Steel is like a New Game+ for Total War fans. It takes most of what the game did great, improved on it even further, and even took some of the best ideas from other mods.
